Tobe again....
Here is a picture of Lynley with her mom (the short red hair) and my mom. Also, Lynley just had her epidural inserted, and so is feeling a little better. The contractions are getting rolling much more quickly and intensely than they did with Isaac. The staff here are hoping that means Evelyn will come on along sooner rather than later.
They are taking some last preparatory steps, and then hoping that Lynley will be able to nap for a little while. We will continue to post updates as they occur. Thanks for checking in. We'll try to post some video of Evelyn once she arrives, if/when Lynley feels up to showing me how.

I just wanted to tell you both that I am praying for a smooth delivery. I know you both are so excited.

You look great, Lynley! Enjoy the birth of that sweet baby! #2 was a much better birth for me than #1! Hope this one is easy for you!

Dear sweet LP2,
I was going to call your house and just leave a message, but since I can do this instead, I know you'll get it today and not sometime later. I hope you know you are in my thoughts and prayers and have been all morning. It seems sad that you are going thru this birth without me - no email updates every couple of days or sympathizing "I feel the same ways" or "I went crazy at week 23 also" kind of thing. I have a box of gifts that I'm getting ready to send. Sadly, I realized I have something for everyone but Tobe - perhaps I shall find one of Jeremy's rarely used baseball caps and throw it in so he at least will know he's thought of too! Anyway, crummy friend that I am, I'm sorry I missed your 30th birthday and did not call to welcome you into this decade properly. I did think about you on April 17th though, and had every intention to call...just like last night, but Jeremy and I celebrated our 10 year!! wedding anniversary and were out late - which also ruined my plan of calling you yesterday. Anyway, even though I don't keep touch like I should, I know you know that you and your precious family are never far from my heart. Perhaps reading this novel will occupy you enough that you will progress even more quickly and baby Evelyn will be here in no time. Take care - all my prayers are with you today. Love you LP2,
LP
