Calling all Book Worms...

The husband and I are going on vacation in about a week and a half. Below is a picture of our new residence come October 20th at 4:00pm.

I cannot even tell you how many cups of coffee and hot chocolate I plan to consume on this deck.

I need some book suggestions for my travels. Let me know what book(s) you've read lately that would make a great vacation read!

The Way They Learn by Cynthia Ulrich Tobias. Its a book about understanding your child's unique learning style. I loved this book! It was a fast, entertaining read, very straightforward, and well written.

Have a great time relaxing!

(And I still would love to know where you get your coupons. I'm still amazed at the $75 saved!)

I am jealous...that looks SO relaxing. :)

I'm in a book club, and we just started "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan." After the first chapter, I was hooked. I haven't finished it yet but am really enjoying it.

Go through your mother's book shelves when you get here. I will have finished the new kathy Reichs (Bones) by then. MOM

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Eureka Springs! I'm so jealous!

I've heard the Twilight series are really good.

I think I should just make note that this is the very first time my own MOM has commented on my blog...it only took a little over 500 posts!

By the way, today is her 39th birthday...Happy Birthday, Mom!

I also recommend the Twilight series. I just finished the first book and I really liked it. I honestly didn't think I would, since I'm not into the whole vampire/fantasy genre. But seriously...it'll take you by surprise. I think you'd like it.

(I can't believe your mom finally commented! About time!)

I have a question for your mom, are the Kathy Reichs books the ones that the television show Bones is based on? I'm assuming she enjoys them.

I have started the Twilight series, and like Sarah, I can't believe I like it. Vampire stories are usually not my thing, but these have been surprisingly good. Sadly, this is about all I've read lately. I have read all of the Shop Til You Drop and Dead End Job Series of mysteries too. Those were really quick reads and mostly fluff. Other than cookbooks, I think these are the only things I've read lately! Let us know what you end up reading, and have a fun trip!
